You need mops with velcro straps to make it stick.

The feeder is easy to put on a shaft. You press two gray plastic pieces on either side of the blue plastic and you can make the splits fit into the holes on the shaft.

There is also a latch that can be pushed down so you can't move the shaft to the side.
